The Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of Virginia is seeking a Lab and Research Technician 2. This position is located at the Anheuser-Busch Coastal Research Center on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. This position is responsible to provide research and logistical support for environmental monitoring associated with the Virginia Coast Reserve Long Term Ecological Research program on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Collects and processes data from island based monitoring stations. Assists in the collection, processing and analysis of water quality and other environmental monitoring samples. Provides logistical support for the LTER program by transporting researchers into the field and assisting with research activities.
